World Area Studies 2
Seventh grade is the second year of a two year World Area Studies course. Seventh grade students study Africa and Asia. The goal of this two year course is to acquaint middle school students with the world in which they live.
Concepts Used in Global StudiesUnit 1:
The focus of this important first unit is on the themes and enduring understandings rather than specific standards. Understanding of these themes will be linked to students’ own experience and knowledge as well as lay the foundation for the rest seventh grade social studies course. |
